Grab A Delicious Breakfast Burrito at Kono's Surf Club Cafe
Kono’s Coffee in Pacific Beach is a classic beachside, casual surf vibes restaurant with a great outdoor patio to soak in those Southern California rays of sunshine. This is a great spot for coffee and breakfast, the delicious breakfast burritos are the best! There’s limited patio space, but since this sits beachside you can grab takeout and picnic on the beach.
On the Menu: Kono’s Coffee
Try my favorite, Egg Burrito #3. It has bacon, potatoes, cheese, pica salsa in a flour tortilla (add avocado!). On a hot day get an iced coffee or an iced latte with oat milk.

To Get There
Kono’s Cafe is located in Pacific Beach right by the beach and Crystal Pier.

Parking: This beach gets busy so you may have to find metered or residential parking a few blocks away and walk over.
When To Go
Kono’s is most known for its coffee and delicious breakfast burritos, so morning would be the best time to go. I will note that they actually serve breakfast all day though so you can also get a delicious breakfast burrito until they close at 3pm. A breakfast burito tastes really delicious after a surf sesh!
Kona’s Outdoor Patio
My favorite thing about this restaurant is it has the best outdoor patio that’s right by the Pacific Ocean and all the beautiful beaches in San Diego. Take in the sunshine and great San Diego weather at a classic surfer vibe breakfast spot.
