Home Decor: Eclectic Modern Guest House

My husband I recently finished our garage conversion into a one-bedroom unit. I’m very influenced by rich desert colors like dusty rose and golden yellow, but I still wanted the space to have a modern vibe. To make it modern, I created the space with the base colors of black and white, with light wood accents to add warmth. I chose a vintage kilim rug first, to build a color story off this main statement piece. From there, we used the home decor service Modsy to help tell the rest of the story, blending some modern pieces like the gray couch with more eclectic flair like the rattan egg chair and a geometric wood console.
