Brunch at Scarlett Begonia

Summer Squash Scramble

Summer Squash Scramble

Scarlett Begonia is my favorite brunch spot to date in Santa Barbara. It's a quaint and hidden gem inside a courtyard off the popular State Street in Santa Barbara.

On the Menu

The menu here changes weekly to offer the freshest locally sourced ingredients, so everything is super fresh and innovative. On my last visit, we tried the biscuit sampler with the maple bacon and buttermilk biscuits, and the summer squash scramble. Everything was absolutely delicious! Definitely add this to your list next time you visit Santa Barbara.

To Get There

Located in downtown Santa Barbara off State Street: 21 W Victoria St, Santa Barbara, CA 93101
It’s not easy to find free parking in this area. I recommend parking in the lot behind the restaurant and just paying the fee. You’ll can walk down State Street after if you want to do some shopping among the Spanish style buildings.

When to Go

The best time to visit is on a nice sunny day for brunch. Since Santa Barbara has great weather almost year round, you can most likely get away with this most days.
