The History

Integratron's architect, George Van Tassel, claimed that the structure is based on the design of Moses’ Tabernacle, the writings of Nikola Tesla and telepathic directions from extraterrestrials. He was an aeronautical engineer and a UFO advocate who held meetings at the nearby Giant Rock, said to be the largest freestanding boulder in the world.

In 1953, Van Tassel claimed he had been contacted both telepathically and later in person by people from space, who gave him a technique to rejuvenate human cell tissue. He began constructing the Integratron in 1954 based on these instructions. According to Van Tessel, he was building this on top of a powerful geomagnetic force. He worked on the structure until his sudden death in 1976. Supposedly it’s an acoustically perfect sound chamber. When I went, I stood in the center and and could hear someone whispering in the corner like they were right next to me.

The Integratron was added to the National Register of Historic Places in April 2018. *Wikipedia
