The travertine terraces of Mammoth Hot Springs in Yellowstone National Park are really a unique sight. There’s a large array of hot springs that were created over thousands of years as hot water from the spring cooled and deposited calcium carbonate giving it a snow-like appearance.

Twin Falls, Idaho is great place to enjoy an adventurous day! Snake River Canyon is just to the north, where you can hike, zipline, kayak, and even base jump off the Perrine Memorial Bridge.
