Mission San Francisco: Visit the Oldest Surviving Structure in San Francisco

Mission San Francisco De Asís (Mission Dolores) was founded in 1776 and is the Oldest Surviving Structure in San Francisco. The mission is a small church constructed of adobe with ornately painted wooden ceilings and carved statues of saintly figures. The basilica now stands towering over the mission and was finished in 1918.
