The ruins of Tulum aren't as grand as some of the other ancient Mayan temples that have survived the test of time, but they have one amazing thing going for them, the beach they tower over is breathtaking.

Kyoto is old Japan, there are so many beautiful historic sites to see all over the city and just beyond. We enjoyed the light jazz 20s throwback lounges and the plethora of intriguing temples. I left wishing I had more time to explore.
