Try the Infamous California In-n-out Burgers

In-n-out is an American fast food restaurant that has been serving up delicious burgers since 1948. You’ll have to take a trip to the west coast to try a bite from their super simple menu which consist of burgers, fries, milkshakes and sodas.

To Get There

The chain exists in California, Texas, Arizona, Nevada, and Utah.

The History

In-n-out was founded in California by Harry Snyder in 1948. It was California’s first drive-thru hamburger stand. Harry was diligent in finding fresh ingredients every morning for his tasty burgers. He also worked hard to invent a 2-way speaker box to make it easy for guests to order and receive their orders from their car.

The chain was only in California for many decades, and finally opened a location outside the state in Nevada in 1992.

In-n-out

In-n-out hamburgers are made from 100% beef patty, and their fries are made from fresh potatoes prepared in sunflower oil. The burgers taste incredibly fresh, and are the perfect stop on any road trip. There are only burgers, fries, fountain drinks and milkshakes on the menu. This makes it nice and simple, with the exception of the “insider menu,” which are basic modifications to the standard. I’ll give you a few tips on this…

Additional Tips

Try it… insider modifications

Protein burger: No bun! The hamburger will instead be wrapped in lettuce

Burger animal style: they add extra cheese, sauce and grilled onions (This is my favorite!)

Fries animal style: they add cheese and grilled onions on top!
