Get the Fast Food Poutine at Gibeau Orange Julep
If you’re in Montreal and you want some legit poutine, head to Gibeau Orange Julep. They serve delicious mounds of fries, cheese curds, and gravy. This place has been around since 1932 and is famous for their “Orange Julep” drink, similar to the “Orange Julius.”
The building is in the shape of a giant orange, and it has a really cool retro sign in the corner of the parking lot. This location used to have rollerskating waitresses, but now you just go up to the window and order. Stop in for a snack, but be warned, it’ll be loaded with sugar and fat!
