Currently in one of our airbnb’s in Yucca Valley we’ve had one of the rooms blocked off for storage. We’ve decided to add this room to accommodate more families. I’ve been planning this 3rd room as a two twin room with a rustic desert vibe. Wood with brass accents, and some interesting patterns to add a splash of color. Finally, some splashes of white to modernize it. I found a local Joshua Tree artist on Etsy called Alder & Ash that creates handprinted linocuts. A jackrabbit and a roadrunner caught my eye, two animals I see frequently in the desert. I also found a vintage brass roadrunner on Etsy that will make a cute decorative addition. Luv Textiles makes some beautiful Hmong and Boho style throw pillows that ship from India. I’ll start working on this room next week and update the post when it’s all put together. Wish me luck!
