Visit the Dinosaurs of 29 Palms

2016-04-13 09.12.36-2.jpg

In Joshua Tree right off Highway 62 there are cute metal dinosaur art installations on the side of the road that are free to visit. There's a gold mom and baby Brontosaurus, and two toothy meat-eaters. These dinosaurs were added in front of Desert View Homes to attract attention. They are also a fun stop for a quick snapshot if your visiting Joshua Tree National Park.

Update: These dinos are not in as pristine of shape as they were when these photos were taken. They’re a little more run down now.

Alternatively you might be looking for The Giant Roadside Cabazon Dinosaurs. These are about 25min from Palm Springs and 45min from Joshua Tree. They are much larger and have a museum and gift shop.
