My Style: Handcrafted Leather
I've been crushing on Will Leather Goods ever since I moved back to L.A. two years ago and discovered them on Abbot Kinney. I love well made leather products, especially when the vibe matches my SoCal meets Southwest sense of style. I took the Rainer backpack and Oaxacan duffle for their first run to Joshua Tree over the weekend. The backpack fits my camera perfectly, and the duffle is a great size for a weekender or a summer trip. The colorful accents the duffles come in are one-of-a-kind and absolutely gorgeous!
For the Joshua Tree summer heat, I sported my Rainier backpack with a cute cactus print shirt from Lulu's, my favorite distressed jean shorts by Signature 8, some sweet shades by Sunski, and a pair of Mexican made booties by Baske California.
What's your favorite desert style?
I've found a new brand fave, Indy Brand Clothing. I'm loving this vintage western inspired "Keep it rad" tee that goes perfectly with my new Bailey Berger Straw hat.
Coachella is around the corner, time to start planning for the bohemian festival style of the desert with clothes from two of my favorites, Planet Blue and Free People.
For Burning Man fashion, anything goes. You can wear whatever your heart pleases, or nothing at all. Festival favorites are steam punk, faux fur, metallics, and colorful body suits. Since the weather drops down into the 40s at night this Red Fox Spirit Hood was a stylish, fun, and warm accessory.
If I could describe Burning Man in one word it'd be "surreal." In fact, the whole festival feels a bit like stepping into a Dali painting. I admit, I was skeptical even through my first day and half of being there. Now I'm convinced it's one of those experiences that you'll covet forever.
